Could you please share what you are doing in Quipper?

I currently hold the position of Jr. Content Production Head. My job is to lead the progression of content production projects. In the production kitchen, content that we’re working on is curriculum-based content, non-curriculum, and content for marketing purposes for other divisions. Most of the projects I work on are cross-departmental and non-curriculum content. Usually, in carrying out a project, CPH must first understand the objectives of the project being worked on, then create a systematic assignment system for every stakeholder as well as communicate and evaluate the processes being carried out.

How do you find ideas to produce creative content for Quipper?

I usually get ideas when I’m surfing the internet. There are many insights, inspirations, and ideas overflowing inside my head by doing that. If I run out of ideas, I will discuss them with other people. It helps me to get something new from a different perspective.

How do you combine creativity in education so that students are interested in Quipper content?

Basically, creativity and education are inseparable. When producing content that will be used to teach, one should create something attractive and new to catch students’ attention, so that they will learn faster and understand it awesomely. Besides, our objective is not only to make students understand the content, but also to hope that they would implement the knowledge later in life. That being said, creativity in producing content is a must.

From what we can see from your educational background, you are currently doing a master’s degree while working. How do you manage your time to do well in both education and work?

Commitment. I believe that whatever we do has a responsibility, both to ourselves and others. To manage my time, I make a daily planner and focus on one goal that I need to achieve throughout the day. Also, my research focus is in the same area as my work, so it’s like killing two birds with one stone.

You have been working quite a long at Quipper, what made you stay here?

My division; Content Team, teammates, the company working culture, also good friends who are always there to help me.

In these almost 4 years, what has Quipper supported you in your career development?

When I started working, I was entrusted with a creative role in planning a video. From this role, I learned many things from teachers, production friends, and project leaders. In my opinion, the career development ladder at Quipper is very fair. We get what we are after according to our abilities. Quipper provides a huge space to learn and implement new things.

Last, do you have any advice for Quipperiors so they can achieve their goals both in their personal and professional life?

Just live happily and wholeheartedly. Haha. But it’s true. If we live to the fullest and think less of the things that are hard for us to bear and try to share and discuss them with others, work will feel like not work. And the most important thing is (I think it really works!), always try to move forward and don’t think too much.
