Leveraging Technology to Help Students Reach Their Dreams

Quipper has many talented members whose stories worth to be shared. This time, we have Doni Yudha Arif Setiawan — a branch head sales of Surabaya. He joined Quipper since mid-2017 and made a remarkable achievement not only to his self development, but also to his team. Doni was chosen to be one of Quipper Champion in 2019. Here is a glimpse of story of his dedication for education

Tell us about things you have discovered as a Branch Head area in Quipper

Not just about work, it was more about satisfaction, pleasure, and honour of being able to help students throughout Indonesia to pursue their dreams and get their rights for better quality of education regardless of their economic background and place, especially in my working area, East Java. Quipper to me is not only a company, but also a family that supports one another and that gives us the freedom to be creative in whichever area that we are working on.

Please tell us about the most memorable thing during your work

There are two memorable moments for me.

The first one was my experience in SMA 1 Pademawu, Pamekasan, Madura. When we got there,we learned that the teachers have an aspiration to improve the quality of education and in need of study solutions. No push for sales or anything but the school itself deemed that Quipper is the solution to their needs and aspiration. Also on top of that, they are also using our Quipper Campus service as they aspire to change students mindset in their area to pursue higher education rather than going straight to work after High School.

Secondly, it’s every users voice / feedback that I heard from the users about how Quipper has successfully helped them to increase their scores, helped them getting admitted to public universities, and how they are satisfied with the learning quality. To me, it is not just about working and getting salary by the end of the month, but there is another incentive, which is users’ satisfaction.

“Do it with passion or not at all” do you agree with that?

I like what I’m doing in Quipper is because I’m giving solution to education stakeholders, such as school, a better education management; also for students by giving a better learning content. But at the end of the day, seeing the students smiling on their graduation day with a great result and getting accepted at the best university are mainly what makes me passionate about this job.

As a Quipper Champion, do you have any message to your team?

The most important thing is not the recognition we received, but how we were able to contribute more for education, delivered the number and saw every single person of my team getting improved time after time. Because the future is never getting easier, so we should be ready for any challenges.
