We believe that every individual, regardless of gender, has the remarkable ability to make meaningful contributions to the company. At Quipper Indonesia, we consistently provide the best support for all employees, upholding the principle of equality irrespective of background or other factors.

One of the annual awards we present is the Quipper Champion, announced at last year’s Kick-off Meeting. This award recognizes employees who demonstrate exceptional dedication and passion. Interestingly, most of last year’s Quipper Champion awardees were women, highlighting the significant contributions women make to the workforce. To explore the journeys and motivations behind their achievements, these awardees share their inspiring stories, valuable experiences, and encouraging tips with other working women.

Brave to Face New Challenges and Accept Failure

Kencana Amanda Illahi shares valuable advice for women building their careers. One key message she conveys is the importance of having self-confidence and the courage to embrace new challenges. Amanda believes that every woman has her own uniqueness and strength.

“My motivation comes from the belief that every effort we make has an impact, both on ourselves and others. In my work, I always think about how my contributions can create meaningful results and add value, especially for the team, clients, and most importantly, for myself. My advice to working women is to be confident because everyone has their own special qualities, be brave in accepting new challenges, and don’t be afraid of failure. Be humble, be thankful, be good!”

Self-confidence is the foundation for overcoming challenges in one’s career journey. It is not uncommon for women to feel doubtful or fear failure, but Amanda reminds us that failure is not the end — it is a stepping stone to growth.

Learn from Every Experience

Another inspirational story comes from Zulfa Sabila, who also shares her meaningful life experiences. For Zulfa, life is a long journey that continuously teaches new things. According to Zulfa, every woman has her own strength, which comes from her uniqueness.

“I believe that humans live in this world to spread kindness and bring benefits, both for themselves and others. Additionally, I also believe that everyone is a lifelong learner. So, I always view every responsibility given as an opportunity to learn. My advice for working women is to be yourself, because the uniqueness we have is a strength that will set you apart from others. Never stop learning, make space for yourself to fail, and always remember that you don’t have to be perfect.”

Zulfa highlighted the importance of never stopping learning, not being afraid to fail, and accepting yourself with all your strengths and weaknesses.

Courage to Take Responsibility

Annisa Izmi Yolanda Pohan is another example of a woman with strong life principles who inspires others. Yolanda believes that the courage to take responsibility, even when she feels unprepared, is the way to discover true strength within herself.

“I am motivated by the desire to keep growing and make a real impact through my work. One principle I always hold is that if I am not able to fulfill my responsibilities today, I will never be ready to face bigger challenges in the future. To all the working women out there, don’t be afraid to take responsibility and show the courage to face challenges, even when you don’t feel completely ready, because it is often in those moments that we find our greatest potential. Don’t forget to believe in your own capacity and build a strong support system.”

For Yolanda, courage is the key to opening new opportunities, and it is often here that we find our best potential.

Respecting Yourself

Alberika Paramaiswari shares an important message for working women: the importance of taking time for yourself, often referred to as me-time. In the busyness of work, women often forget to set aside time for themselves. However, me-time is a way to respect oneself.

“The community always gives its best, and that is what motivates me to stay consistent and motivate myself to support the company with good work results. I also enjoy my work because it brings pride and joy when what I do can be beneficial. My advice to working women is to remember to give yourself me-time. Me-time is a way for us to respect ourselves after working hard.”

Me-time is one of the ways to recharge energy and return with greater enthusiasm.

The inspiring stories of these extraordinary women remind us that every journey in the workplace comes with challenges and opportunities to unlock the potential of women. Their resilience, passion, and dedication show the power of embracing individuality, inspiring others to pursue their goals with confidence and courage. Let’s celebrate their achievements and support each other in creating a future where every woman can thrive and contribute to the success of their teams and beyond.
